Ok, this my top 10, for the moment....

I should have put Pink Floyd in place of Family, if I had looked at my ranking but... ok, forgive me Pink Floyd,

and forgive me Henry Cow, Roxy Music, Peter Gabriel, Art Zoyd, Univers Zero, Tori Amos, Traffic, Comus, Supertramp, Third Ear Band, Stormy Six, etc.

Talk Talk and King Crimson are among my personal Big 5, Van der Graaf not far behind. I'll vote for Talk Talk trusting that KC will pick up enough votes anyway.

Voted for Tim Buckley... Nobody talks about him here...

Perhaps because his music is not really prog...

Only a couple here that I could count among my favorites, KC and Magma, in that order.

It's not too late to edit Pink Floyd into your poll in place of Family, and if you do, I'll vote for Pink Floyd. Wink

I haven't heard many of those. I've tried VDGG but I just can't get to love it. I simply like it.

KC all the time

It's very, very hard not to choose KC.

VDGG is RIGHT behind KC for me on this one!

King Crimson, and I`m not a huge fan of them either but I like In The Court Of The Crimson King and Red and bits and pieces off other albums. VDGG I only like a small amount of stuff by them but they would be 2nd.. I tried Tongue

Come on JB, Angry
I'd have expected you to list at least Shawn Phillips, since you were so insistant to have him includedLOL

Yes but Family needs a revaluation! Have you listened to Fearless?

You're right but Shawn Phillips is in the Prog-related category, so I didn't think about him.

Family, since I have 2 albums by them and none by any of the others. I has some, but disposed of them as they weren't to my taste any more.
Obviously, if Floyd had been in there, they'd have walked it.

If there was an all of the above option, I'd go with that, as all are favourites, but today I went with Matching Mole / Robert Wyatt. What a strong list this is when even Area doesn't have a vote. I think perhaps I should have given Area a vote as I don't like to see it without a vote.
