3 of my favourite albums, all are brilliant, but which is your favourite?

For me, ITEC has some of the best songs, TTOE has some of the best moments (and a guest artist list to die for!), but THE is just so consistent throughout and is so brilliant lyrically, musically and emotionally.  Probably my favourite album of all timeClap

All are great, but definitely "The Human Equation", Arjen's greatest masterpiece.
"PROG IS MY FERRARI".

I'll go with The Theory of Everyting. THE's second CD is rather boring for me.

I like all of Ayreon's albums. It's hard to pick a favourite.

I'd have to listen to all three Ayreon albums again before I can pick a favourite. I haven't heard the albums since I worked on my own music site, and that was five years ago. Smile

More like several days I think. The one thing I remember about Ayreon is his albums tend to be very long. Smile

Maybe I'll post the albums here, then I'll avoid having the albums rudely interrupted by YouTube ads. Smile

I like them all too, but The Human Equation is my preference.

Into Electric Castle by far, although my favorite is Actual Fantasy, transcendent album. Starting with The Human Equation Arjen started to repeat himself too much around certain formulas, running out of inspiration. Theory of Everything is horrible imo (as hard as it is to say because I respect Lucassen's work a lot) - nothing memorable, no melodies, no songwriting. I feel same happened to Neal Morse for example.

I gave my vote to The Electric Castle, but my favourite Ayreon remains The Universal Migrator duo.
