Harmonium, but both are fantastic musical accomplishments. |

TOUGH CHOICE! I like the breadth and scope of Scheherazade but find myself returning more often to the whole album of cinquième saison.

I will refrain from placing my own vote until I've had sufficient time with Scheherazade; for now, I'm biased towards Harmonium!.

I went for shergar, the t'ther is possibly the most overrated release of all time...and its not prog either....the singing is awful and I was expecting Ant phillips style with loads of mellotron....nope, damp squib...

However much I listen to Harmonium, I just can't get why people think it's so good. In the words of the 5th book of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy trilogy, I would describe it as "Mostly Harmless". Pleasant but pretty forgettable. Except the singing, which is excruciating.
Scheherezade, on the other hand, is quite beautiful.

Scheherazade. I've heard OF the Harmonium album since I joined ProgArchives, but I haven't actually heard the album.

I wouldn't bother if I were you....it's definately not symphonic prog as its genre says it is....unless it's been reclassified as silent film soundtrack rubbish... |

It’s under prog folk ^ but Historie San Paroles is pretty symphonic. That album is one of the greatest musical accomplishments ever in my book.
