I never used to listen to prog metal that much, but after listening to this album, I definitely am. Wouldn't call it a masterpiece, but there is some really great music in it. Highly recommend to anyone who likes prog metal.
Thoughts?

Looks like no one has any thoughts. Well, anyone who sees this, listen to the album.

Then now is the time! Unless you hate them, of course.

I've listened a bit to your video, have heard better, more interesting progressive metal than this, but I might give them a chance.

sorry, I don't mean to be rude, but your review won't help me make a choice whether i listen to this or not. If or when I listen to this band some more, I'll be back with my opinion.

That's fine, not taken as rude - in fact, I tend not to be influenced by other people's reviews either. Hope you like the album - and the band.

^Yes, I saw that. It was a good review, I enjoyed reading it. I see you also were asked to listen to it by Christian Di Mambro!

I really enjoyed the previous release (the first I had heard from the band). I am in two minds about this new album, for while I do like it, it is veering more and more into Dream Theater territory, and further away from the more original sound I heard on Element of Surprise. That said, I think I still prefer this new album to Element. There’s still a lot of Rush in the band’s sound, though, which does keep the DT somewhat at bay. I get the feeling that if someone likes Rush, they will be more predisposed to like Pyramid Theorem (and, of course, the converse is also likely the case).
