Hello people, just a couple of days ago I created a Wobbler discord server after getting tired of looking for some. We got a good 14 members (+7) in bots. Feel free to check it out!

Seems like a new way to chat, without a chat room. From Discord's website...

"Discord servers are organized into topic-based channels where you can collaborate, share, and just talk about your day without clogging up a group chat."

I guess if you REALLY need to chat with someone RIGHT NOW about the new Wobbler release, then you use a discord server.

Why for? I can discuss the album here already? Do you think these invitations to discord servers are contributing much to the forum? Please stop the spam with useless threads!

Not everyone is familiar with using a forum, but you are promoting this at a site where people are using a forum. I would hope you're not trying to poach people -- lure them away, but add an additional option. Many sites take a hard line when it comes to trying to lure people into potentially competing resources, and indeed on advertising their own sites period. We are easier going here generally.

You didn't upset me in the least. We had a spammy user advertising his discord server the other day. The more effort one puts into this site (including being involved in the discussions), the more tolerant of marketing we likely will be.

My son uses Discord a lot, but he is only 13 and not into Wobbler.

Discord is a great place, tons of great small prog servers. If it peeks anyone's interest, a member or Wobbler is in the server!
