I'll have to take a rain check on this challenge, as I can't come up with any members of Jethro Tull I'd want in my Big Six Supergroup. I only know Ian Anderson, and no offence, but I don't want to choose him as the lead vocalist when I could have Jon Anderson in my supergroup instead.

Several large egos in this line-up, it could have been very interesting musically or it maybe it would have just ended in an on-stage punch-up as they tried to outdo each other: Keith Emerson - ELP, Keyboards Steve Howe - Yes, Guitar Dave Gilmour - Pink Floyd, Guitar Ian Anderson - Jethro Tull, Vocals & Flute John Wetton - King Crimson, Vocals & Bass Phil Collins - Genesis, Drums |

@Grumpy: Just out of curiosity, what do you imagine with a Rabin and Belew combination? Seems an odd match to me... (But well, there are more odd matches proposed here... )

^^I'm glad they'll all be able to get along! Bit surprised at the lack of
love for Steve Howe, it would be a dead heat between him and Jan
Akkerman as my favourite guitarist.

Well John Bonham said Barriemore Barlow was the "greatest rock drummer England ever produced" so maybe you could go for him? I guess he gets overlooked amongst the Palmers and Brufords of this world. On that basis I will go for - Barriemore Barlow - Tull, drums
Rick Wright - Floyd, keys Jon Anderson - Yes, vocals Jamie Muir - KC, percussion Greg Lake - ELP, bass, guitar, vocals Steve Hackett - Genesis, guitar Edited by chopper - November 13 2020 at 16:28 |

Keys - Keith Emerson Guitar - Steve Hackett Voc - Ian Anderson Drums - Bill Bruford (KC) Bass - Chris Squire You said two guitars, but I don't want another guitarist. I mean, if I could put Steve Howe in, I would.. Edited by Spacegod87 - November 13 2020 at 07:27 |

Squire , Emerson, Hackett, Gilmour, Bruford, Anderson (Ian)
nothing else makes any sense to me! It's funny that you can put the bass and drums of the classic Yes line up together only because Bruford played in 2 of the bands (3 if you count Genesis!)

I put Jon in on vocals, but that turned out to be almost by default. If I had put Howe on guitar, I would have had to have put PG on vox. I would be interested in hearing any of these lineups, impossible as they may be.
