The last poll in the series. This is where Opeth became full-on prog outfit we know today. How do you like, is it on par, or better? Let us know! |

Pale Communion; but it is important to say that there is not a single bad album among these!

These are all good albums, but Pale Communion is somewhere in my top 20 favorite albums of all time and 2nd behind Ghost Reveries. I don't know what it is about that album, but every song is just homerun after homerun to the point I have difficulty choosing a favorite song, probably Voice of Treason though. Great production, an album has never grown on me quite like that one has. ICV in second for this poll, great album. Sorceress and Heritage are very good albums too, but those aforementioned 2 stand a notch or two above them in my book.

I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect. |

Their last one is one of the best albums I've ever heard. They go to a whole new level.

1. ICV (Swedish)
2= Heritage / Sorceress (it depends on the day which I prefer) 4. Pale Communion (one of least favourite Opeth albums, from those I have heard/own) |

I voted Sorceress, though I'm liking the new one a lot too, and a few more listenings might improve it in my apreceation.
