TOP 20 RUSH Songs - #11

This is the new, long distance project ON A MISSION - to determine consensus 20 Best Rush Songs Cool
As determined in this preliminary thread, we are using a method already tested in a similar Genesis Project.

Every participant names three songs in order of preference:
First song = 4.5 points
Second song = 3 points
Third song = 2 points
After a couple of days I add up your "points" and announce the winning song for a current spot.
Then we move on and vote for the next spotAll points are reset.

Voting is closed.
No. 11 song is A Farewell to Kings

1. A Farewell to Kings. 17.5 pts
2. Red Barchetta. 17.0 pts
3. Jacob's Ladder. 11.5 pts
4. The Spirit of Radio. 11.0 pts
5. The Analog Kid. 9.5 pts

~~~THE LIST~~~
Subdivisions
Force Ten (so massively underrated , heard it recently and it fits what we are going through now. Rush were so great at social political commentary)
I've always loved Manhattan Project, that was always my stand out track of Power Windows. I was what 20/21 when that album came out and I played it probably daily!
I remember my parents bought it for me as a Birthday or maybe Christmas present. Very thoughtful for them to realise this was something I would want without any prompting!
I was a bit unsure of it at the time but I love the fact they had a complete idea and ran with it. Perhaps too much eighties sounding (jangly guitar uh!) but there is some great stuff on it for sure.Clap
I get the feeling this thread/idea has run it course. A really nice top ten , perfectly representing that glorious album run from 2112 to Moving Pictures. Why tarnish it? I suggest that we leave it here rather than add a bunch of random tracks that few are really agreeing on.
I'm sorry for being inactive lately. Christmas arrangements and moving to another apartment really take a lot of time. But I'm willing to continue (perhaps evem tomorrow), unless many of you will leave a comment and decide it's not fun anymore.
Don't apologize!! I appreciate the poll, problem is the poll is about a progressive rock band called Rush and not the bubblegum pop band Beatles Dead, that would have gotten you more action, which is very sad and makes this website hardly fun at times.
The Top 10 is certainly fine and admirable but hardly bringing out the deep cuts that might garner some nice votes and create an interesting playlist.
Do as you wish, but nobody has much extra time during the Christmas season. Clap
I personally don't think it's not "fun" anymore. There are some songs I need to see in the top 20 but I'm not exactly sure they will be here.
I'm still digging it. I wanted to see what the next ten was going to be so as long as it's still going I will be voting.
Unfortunately the fact that this thread was opened 2 weeks ago and is still stuck on page one tells its own story.
