LOL my buddy and I literally joke about this being one of the biggest cringe lyrics, ever ![]() There are parts on the Maxophone record that have a festive, Christmas feel to them: |

Robert Fripp's first guitar was a Christmas gift! Patricia Fripp told me that this photo was taken the day after Christmas. Bob was 11 or 12.

I mentioned this one on the bottom of page 3 and also included a link to the video. One I don't think I mentioned is "blood on the rooftops" by Genesis. It has the line "we always watch the Queen on Christmas day" and so for that reason I like to hear it on Christmas. Over all it's not a Christmas song though but the sound is kind of wintery imo.

Ok, it looks like I did mention that Genesis song on page 1. Ok, now I know my memory is going to crap. Lol. I guess after that one the closest thing Genesis have to a christmas song is "snowbound."

Not a Prog song, so off-topic, but as it is Christmas (at least it still is where I live).
"Here comes Santa in his sleigh Those silver bells they sound so gay His shiny sleigh is heaped with toys To give to all good girls and boys...". Edited by Logan - December 25 2020 at 17:44 |

Ok, these songs maybe aren't quite prog but they are from a legend in the genre so they should get mentioned. Also, neither are Christmas songs exactly but are from his Christmas album and have christmas tunes embedded in them.
