Perhaps known best as a member of funk rock band The Main Squeeze, Los Angeles-based drummer and drum teacher Reuben Gingrich has since 2017 released one studio album (featuring contributions from Prince bassist Dywane "MonoNeon" Thomas Jr. and Konnakol vocalist BC Manjunath) and one extended play, both of which definitely lean more to the fusion side. More recently he has formed the Azolla project with guitarist Colin Cook and bassist Zephyr Avalon.
