Ton and Wim, who played music together in a local youth club in the 1970s, still regularly bump into each other and there was always the comment “we should really do something again” Well, it had been so long since they had even touched the instruments, and little time with all the day-to-day worries. But at the end they teamed up together!

Ton, who knew almost every musician in the region, started networking. Soon bass player and old comrade Ed de Groot came into view and he was looking forward to playing in a band again. Ed knew from his previous bands (Oalnego and Madman Einstein) keyboard player and singer Frans Nooijen so they just ask! Frans still plays with party band Quatz, but he felt like making real music again. 

We couldn't find a drummer that close to home, so then we went to the musician's sofa and yes, soon Jos van den Heuvel was found and the band was born. It soon became clear what we were going to play… progressive rock and no covers. In 2010 a careful try-out that was well received, for us reason to work even harder to make a full evening program. News to mention, since September 2010 Jos our drummer has left the band on doctor's advice and since January 2011, a new drummer has been added named Sven, so we are complete again. After a successful time and co-realizing our debut album Tell me, Sven has indicated to focus more on a different music stream. After a search of only a few weeks we came across Marijn. A seasoned drummer from the prog rock scene. Ton Wim Frans has formed Ed and Marijn Argus since mid-2015.
