Gentle Giant is the superior band but Moonmadness is the superior album.

Even though GG is my preferred band, I give this one to Camel. Moonmadness is their best effort IMHO and I prefer In A Glass House and all that came after to most of Octopus anyway.

Moonmadness is damn near flawless while Octopus is a lesser 'Giant album for me.

For my money, two of the best prog records of all time (not a particularly hot take eh?), but with that said, Moonmadness IS my favorite record of all time, soooo....

Nah, they're both up there for sure! Octopus is the best full-Shulman bro affair, even though I prefer nearly everything that came after because I get off on super-tech/busy stuff LOL . Moonmadness is Camel at their absolute peak IMHO.

Easy, easy vote for Octopus. GG absolutely on fire. Panurge alone is more interesting than the entire Moonmadness album as far as I am concerned.

Every time I see one of these two-album polls pop up again, I have to check to see if I've already voted.
