I also have all my CD's ripped to one of my hard drives, in .FLAC format, and with a good soundcard and decent speakers mostly listen to music on the PC nowadays.

When my collection approached 1,000 CDs I started a policy of "one in, one out" and got myself a nice shelf that could only hold about that many CDs. But 15 years ago I also decided to rip all of them and listen only to files. Since then my CDs are hibernating at my mother's place in Germany. At one point I'll need to go through them and take them to Sweden, although I'll probably sell 90% of them in the process. Deciding which ones to keep will be difficult ...
I can't think of any CD's I'd want to get rid of - not even Tim Buckley's Lorca album. Tongue
