Since no-one seems to have any idea about Dianvulu and Line C here hints for both:

Dianvulu are a band named after one member (like Bruford or Greenslade). They became famous because of their Woodstock appearance.

Line C are a British jazz-rock/fusion band.

Both answers are correct. "Satana" is a word for the devil in several languages; with the added "n" it becomes "Santana". "Diavulu" is Corsican for "Devil"; with the added "n" it becomes "Dianvulu".

Line C are Brand X. When reading the alphabet backwards "X" is the third letter. So reading forward it becomes "C".

Santana was my guess also.

I'll see if I can come up with a few more.

Shoestream and the South are Hatfield and the North. Their name actually stems from a road sign on the M1 motorway in Great Britain. We saw that road sign with our own eyes.

Djam Karet is of course correct. Not what I had in mind for Hole the World.  Think US band from the 70's. Transatlantic is a good one though and they are on the list I am drawing from. After Crying is indeed correct. You are pretty close with Zombi actually since Goblin is the band I had in mind. Apparently Zombi named themselves after a Goblin album.

It's hint time. A certain UK band who popped in the 80's named themselves after a fictitious breakfast cereal. This band is the answer to one of the clues.

Another one is a German band from the 70's.

I figured Goblin was too obvious. Zombi took the name from the film, which is better known as Dawn of the Dead, which Goblin supplied most of the soundtrack for.
