The first five albums on your list are on my list too, although admittedly,  I'm not a big fan of Jethro Tull's cover version of  Larks' Tongues in Aspic. Wink

Would have made my list if it was a 1973-album. But all Cosmic Jokers-albums were released in1974. An attemnt to make a list of ten personal favorites:

Dedalus - Dedalus
Can - Future Days
Magma - Mekanïk Destruktïw Kommandöh
Area - Arbeit Macht Frei
Eddie Henderson - Realization
Gong - Flying Teapot (love Angel's Egg too of course)
Faust - Faust IV
Alain Goraguer - La Planète Sauvage
King Crimson - Larks' Tongue in Aspic
Roxy Music - For Your Pleasure

+twenty (out of many more) additional titles/artists that needs to be mentioned:

Electric Light Orchestra - On the Third Day
Steely Dan - Countdown to Ecstasy
Museo Rosenbach - Zarathustra
Campo Di Marte - Campo di Marte
Axis - Axis
Agitation Free - 2nd
Spirogyra - Bells, Boots and Shambles
Embryo - Rocksession (& We Keep On)
Igor Wakhévitch - Hathor
Between - And the Waters Opened
Banco del Mutuo Soccorso - Io Sono Nato Libero
Perigeo - Abbiamo Tutti Un Blues Da Piangere
Led Zeppelin - Houses of the Holy
The Henry Cow - Legend
Camel - Camel
Le Orme - Felona E Sorona
Battiato - Sulle Corde di Aries
Renaissance - Ashes Are Burning
Kvartetten Som Sprängde - Kattvals
Kraftwerk - Ralf & Florian

Love about 60% of Dark Side, really can't stand "Money" at all. There's about a quarter of music on Selling England I won't mind not ever hearing again ("Battle of Epping Forest", "More Foool Me"). As much as I treasure their highlights, they have never been go to albums for me.

TFTGO, A Passion Play... there's plenty of things to like on both, but to be honest my ears get tired, my heart remains unmoved and my mind slightly bored.

If I had included post-Coltrane jazz to my prog list Extentions* would easily made my top five. I've got the intense Enlightment as a 1974-album, but I notice you added USA which probably explains it.

*I've seen in as a 1972-release too, but I think it's wrong (it was recorded in 1970 anyway). Is that the reason it's missing from your list? I prefer it to the also great Song For My Lady.
