I only have 'La La Land' but I often read the word 'Prog' in WF album reviews, so...

We do have certain protocols for submissions in Suggest New Bands:
Artist Submission procedure: http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=122381 If not formally submitting the band for evaluation, then General Music Discussions is the better place to bring such things up.

Just testing the water really. Looking for people's opinions on a band that to my ears does have some Prog in its dna.

There have been more releases since the evaluation was carried out, notably 'The Astronaut' in 2014.
Wax Fang started off as a solo project by songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, Scott Carney, beginning with with 2005’s 'Black & Endless Night' before growing into a three-piece (with the addition of Jacob Heustis & Kevin Ratterman) for the 2007 album 'La La Land' and the 2012 EP 'Mirror, Mirror'. They then slimmed down to a two-piece recording project for 2014’s space-rock opera 'The Astronaut', with Kevin Ratterman just having a role in producing/engineering the album. In 2017 'Victory Laps' and the follow up single 'Glass Island' were released, and their latest offering 'Repetition' is a 4-song EP of older material that was never previously released. The current line-up includes bassist Corey McAfee, keyboardist Zach Driscoll and drummer Josh Moore, and they are stated to be working on the 5th Wax Fang studio album. https://open.spotify.com/album/0WeF6hgUEu37DUpaoUrJrZ ('Mirror Mirror', EP, 2012) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EevTILISjuU ('King Of The Kingdom Of Man', single, 2013) https://open.spotify.com/album/5GuhFVeQwozPNCVrfgRDWw ('The Astronaut', 2014) https://open.spotify.com/album/5HoOGOELFLSBxuBbLhx9lm ('Victory Laps', 2017) The previous evaluation in Crossover resulted in three 'move' votes, presumably to Psych/Space, where the band had already been rejected, so that was the end of the road for them: https://progfreak.com/Wax-Fang-101546.html?path=pa/recent. Proggnosis have them in their database, so I guess a fresh evaluation might be worthwhile based on their later releases.
