I know technically I should be saying Gorguts, but admittedly, I haven't gotten as deep into their music as I have None So Vile, so Cryptopsy gets my vote

I believe that poutine is the standard unit of measurement in Quebec. I almost consider Quebec to be its own country, but then I'm something of a British Columbia separatist (but just the best bits with just the best people -- they'd never let me join).

I have only heard Gorguts, so no vote at this time.

Gorguts is essentially my favorite tech/extreme prog band ever.

The Erosion of Sanity is a pinnacle of early 90's tech death.

Obscura is still being digested by the masses 23 years later.
