But its just six songs - or a little over two hours of listening:)

These unsettling pieces of music all leave me feeling Bewitched, Bothered & Bewildered, but I'm inclined towards the symphonic sound of Schicke, Fuhrs & Frohling. Smile

Cool that you give them all a listen. BTW: I'd say both Artcane and Morte Macabre are fairly melodic and symphonic-sounding. Look at the line-up/instruments of the latter band:

Nicklas Berg (Anekdoten) — Mellotron, Fender Rhodes, Theremin, sampler, guitar, bass
Stefan Dimle (Landberk)— bass, Mellotron, Moog
Reine Fiske (Landberk) — guitar, Mellotron, violin, Fender Rhodes
Peter Nordins (Anekdoten)— drums, percussion, Mellotron

-that's four guys on mellotron:)

If I'm honest a handful of the other otions in the poll has meant (a lot) more to me. I've obsessed over:

Cielo Drive, 17
Les Cycles De Thanatos
East Hastings &
Symphonic Holocaust

-in particular
After I've had a year to think back and fourth - I landed on the one I bolded.

It's awesome that Dashiell Hedayat has grown from complete an largely unheard obscurity to something that a handful of people can actually give a vote to in a poll here. I suppose it's one of the best thing about internet:)
