Time to Burn were an atmospheric sludge metal band from Paris, France, formed in 2002. The original lineup featured Sébastien le Bouard (guitars), Eddy Duluc (vocals/guitars), Christophe Marconato (bass) and Julien Bonicel (drums). Following a demo and an independently-released EP, Time to Burn were signed by Basement Apes Industries, and issued their debut album, Starting Point, in 2005. Marconato would be replaced by bassist/vocalist Grégory Hoepffner by the time of Time to Burn's sophomore LP, 2007's Is.Land. The band went into an indefinite hiatus sometime afterwards, with a four-track compilation of hard-to-find songs issued digitally on their Bandcamp in 2013.

Time to Burn's fierce and abrasive noise rock and post-hardcore-inspired songwriting is similar to Cult of Luna, Overmars, Amenra, Tephra, Einna, Battlefields and Shora.
