Je veux un autre Camembert
let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword

Anything in the Radio Gnome Invisible trilogy, which I really feel is a triple album, released in fits and starts!!

I would have voted You either way, but Obsolete is an absolute gem that I personally would consider as part of the Gong family albums.

I am not a fan of You.

I prefer Flying Teapot.

I voted for Gazeuse, Right now its my favorite "Gong" album. F***ing Allan Holdsworth is the guitar player. His Solos on this album are on another level.

In polls like this - when it is impossible to choose - I go for 'first love'.  In this case, the wonderful Camembert Electrique, bought for 55p from Virgin Records when I was 13.

(Correction: Daevid had left by the time of 'Live in Sherwood Forest' - this was the short-lived Hillage led version of the band)

Flying Teapot followed by Electrique Camembert, both great albums!

Same here but I was too young. I went to my first gig at Nottingham Uni a couple of years later.

Come to think of it, I only would've been 16 years of age at the time the Gong gig took place in Sherwood Forest in 1975 and I was too young to be even aware of the music of Gong at that time. Even now though, I'd have a job finding my way to a gig in the vastness of Sherwood Forest. Smile
