The last album I bought on release was 'Union'.  Although the live show was great, I then avoided 'Talk' when it came out, thinking it would be rubbish.  I picked it up years later second hand and was very pleasantly surprised!

I think it may have been you who recommended the Talk album to me, and you're absolutely right about the Union Live show being much better than the Union album itself - otherwise known as the "Onion" album by Rick Wakeman, as it always makes him cry. Smile

I'm tempted to vote for the Union Live album, but I'd better cast my vote for The Ladder instead, seeing as I'll probably be the only one here to vote for it (again).  Smile

The Ladder gets the nod.
Saw their tour for this album in Allentown. Dream Theater was their opening act.
Welcome to the middle of the film.

KTA 2 followed very closely by KTA. Everything else is crap.

I like to see Keys to Ascension as a single live album. Still, Keys To Ascension 2.
"PROG IS MY FERRARI".

I cannot vote in this poll.
I am really not a fan of any of this material other than the studio tracks fro KTA 1&2.
Open Your Eyes is one of the worst things they ever did.
It should have been titled "Shut Your Trap!"

While I'm not as hostile as the above member....a none of the above choice would have been nice.

Then vote for that, as I did. Wink

It looks like you just did vote for "none of the above", even though it's not a poll option. Wink

KTA 2 just over KTA. I love both "Mind Drive" and "That, That Is"!

Now, this one is difficult. It might be Talk, just for Endless Dream. If it were the live Keys to Ascension in one album, then I guess it would have to be that one. Or Union Live, but the one that made it to the album doesn't feature the best set-list we could have hoped for on it... still, I guess that one would be the better one.
