Hi everybody!

Time flies and by now my album count now is three! Late 2020 I released the second album titled '2020' and just recently on the first of May I released my third album titled 'The Spire'.

The 2020 album was done during the first Lockdown in the UK and the track with the same title has an accompanying video showing the sadness and overwhelming impact of the covid crisis in early 2020. The album also includes a tribute to top guitarist Jeff Beck.

The latest album The Spire has ten tracks. Most of the music was written and recorded during 2021. Six of the tracks feature a collaborator from Ukraine: three vocal tracks feature singer Amariia who was a semi finalist this year for the National Eurovision Song Contest and is the lead vocalist of the alt rock band Amariia. The opening track of the album is dedicated to Rick Wakeman and is called 'Wakeman's Tale'. At the end there is an amazing piano solo by Eugene Moiseienko from Kyiv. And two tracks feature a bass player from that city who listens to the name 'Magabassman'. Who could have known that Ukraine would enter such a terrible war? Somehow it does make it special now. So sad what is happening there :-(((

All the music was written and recorded by my self at home. The contributions from the other musicians arrived by email and were inserted in the project. All the tracks together form a prog style journey. The core philosophy of the music is prog. Freedom of arrangement and form. That form can be sometimes quite standard and sometimes be totally free. And I am a great lover of melody and harmony. Some say my music is very cinematic and atmospheric.
