A random shuffle from a hard drive with well over 50,000 tracks. I missed a couple that are so local and obscure I doubt anybody would know them (The Men That Will Not Be Blamed For Nothing and Fabulous Trobadors).
'Like so many of you
I've got my doubts about how much to contribute
to the already rich among us...'

Robert Wyatt, Gloria Gloom

Cool that someone besides me is doing a RS poll!

I gotta admit, I haven't heard these, except probably Coltrane and/or Cohen, though (ack!) I can't remember either one exactly. Unhappy   But I chose Coltrane because he's probably my favorite artist on the list.

I gave my vote to David Sylvian, but John Coltrane is very close behind.

It was a battle of the three C’s for my vote - Cale, Cohen and Coltrane.
I went for Cale.
