Why does the Featured Artist of the Month forum still exist?

No one has contributed to it since November 20, 2015.

Apparently, it's only the chief admin and site owner M@X who's allowed to post anything in the Featured Artist of the Month forum, as all of the current threads are locked.

Threads auto-lock after a period of inactivity, although I believe that one of those was purposefully locked.

That sub-forum was created by M@x and only he has made topic there, and it's up to him as site owner if he wishes to keep it. Perhaps he has mostly forgotten about it, removing it has not been a priority of his, and/ or he may be keeping it in case we have future featured artists of the month (deals) to promote there.
