YURT – V – UPGRADE TO OBSOLETE is the fifth album by the sonic
elders of YURT from Dublin, Ireland. Since 2006, the band has traded in a an
idiosyncratic form of progressive noise incorporating heavy prog rock, prog metal,
prog punk with elements of doom, psychedelia and jazz.

On September 20 2022, the band revealed a new track THE BRAND EVANGELIST as
the spearhead for the album.
