Epica... DYU remains arguably their best.

I have heard 21/25 of those... Thumbs Up

Having just listened to Aesma Daeva's 30-minute-long Ex Libris EP for the first time, I can tell you that it sounds nothing like any other Symphonic Metal album - apart from the three previous Aesma Daeva albums, obviously. Smile

It's good to see Nighwish winning this poll by a comfortable margin. At the moment, it looks like I'll be voting the same way too after listening to the first nine albums in the poll. although I've heard Epica and Kamelot's albums are very good too. Then again, there's always the dark temptress Sharon den Adel and Within Temptation to tempt me (not to be confused with Sharon den Arden who's married to the Prince of Darkness himself). Wink

I've listened to 11/25 so far. I like Epica's album too, and If it wasn't for the honey monster growling, I would've given it five stars. Smile

I still have eight albums to listen to in this poll, but at the moment, it looks very much like Nightwish is going to get my vote. Do I Ever Dream of Symphonic Metal Goddess Floor Jansen?
