Apparently I missed another while I was gone. Here's a companion to Paul's poll from 24 September. Enjoy!

The Brazilians Violeta De Outono. Just listened to it recently. It would be harder for me picking my second favourite from the list but maybe Oresund Space Collective, I like Black Tomato a lot!

If you had asked me in 2007, my vote would have gone to either Redemption or Amaran's Plight (both great albums) but today, the only one that still stays with me is:

Sieges Even

Awesome! I love it that we still have someone really attracted to the harder edges of prog active here! Rock on!

I really love your positivity Drew.. you're great!  Clap

I'm not as attached to the harder edged stuff now as I was 15 years ago, although I will always still like a blast of it. Those last two Sieges Even albums however, although listed as Prog-Metal, aren't typically so, and continue to get under your skin, layer by layer, especially Paramount, which was hardly considered a classic when it came out. For me, it continues to be a beautiful album which has stood the test of time and permeates my being when I listen to it... Smile

There are some great recordings here!  2007 was a great year!

Alone Together, The Hemulic Voluntary Band, Sleeping In Traffic 1, Circus of Life...
but the real gem is

Moth Vellum

Go get some headphones and give it a listen if you never have before.
Sublime.

Haven't heard enough of these to cast an informed vote.

Good to know! I'll give it a closer listen. Thanks!

Agreed! I was hoping to bring a little attention to this long "lost" gem with this poll!
