ere we are, at the first New Release Report of 2023! Admittedly, this month has been a bit bare as far as releases go, but I know that's pretty typical for the beginning of the year. In any case, I hope you enjoy the list and find something that catches your eye. Happy listening! Thumbs Up

Also, just a side note: I'll be gone from the site until mid-March, so the next NRR will be coming out a bit late. It'll still come out in due time though Smile

Thank you good sir!
You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

A lot of nice goodies in that lot. I need to seek out the Lazuli release.

BTW Rick Wakeman - A Gallery Of Imagination. The physical vinyl/CD etc release date was put back to February according to the supplier although it's actually showing on PA as a December 2022 release (streaming?)

Yeah, I was a bit confused about that. I've consulted several different sites, and it seems like I get a different release date each time LOL

If you haven't yet, King Gizzard live at Red Rocks, no exaggeration, probably the best rock live album I've ever heard. Granted, it's 8 and a half hours, but I was at two of the three shows and it carries over to digitally so gracefully. Incredible mix, and they especially shine on the extended jam tracks like The River, Iron Lung, Her and I, Ice V, Magma. It so exhaustively covers their whole career and every style they've touched down on and it's a beautiful celebration of their career up to this point.

Thank, you for this  invaluable work! I do miss the depth of the Ukranian "new prog releases" however :-(

I was just going through this list for fun and the Atsuko Chiba album is amazing? Psychedelic + Mars Volta + their own vibe. I'll be doing a review but will be in my top albums of the year I'm thinking.

Amazing list Necrotica!

It is really useful for someone newbie here in prog-rock like me.

This weekend I will not be able to hang out with friends... Too many new bands to listen!

Thanks a lot!
