so beautiful and literally a minute long! Could've been 20 just with this melody alone, so soothing

On another thread, I've posted a track from Miki Petkovski's 1979 solo album "Ko zna." He is a classically trained pianist, and his compositions are just perfect.
Petkovski composed this instrumental masterpiece titled "Tegoba," which found place on ex-Yugoslav band Smak's second album, "Crna dama," from 1977, where he played Steinway piano and Minimoog synthesizer.

Present-time progressive music should not be neglected. Bartosz Ogrodowicz is a contemporary prog-rock artist from Poland.
"Forsaken" is an instrumental from his 2010 solo debut album of the same name, where Ogrodowicz's excellent synthesizer playing and opening drum rhythm formed the basis of a great yet not long instrumental track. After the melody plays for a while, it transitions into a powerful section with a fantastic synthesizer solo and great drum sounds.
Ogrodowicz was only 22 years old when he recorded this little masterpiece.
