To P, or not to P, that is the question.
I've felt like I was practically drowning in P, was surprised how many P's I had wanted to include. I whittled this down from a much longer P list and had wanted to try to include three letters again (N to P) but gave up trying. Feel free to vote for a band in this list that you enjoy no matter how limited your knowledge, and despite how many you might enjoy. I have opted to not make this multiple votes, but of course one can mention all one likes (and even dislikes) in a post. For me ultimately it's between the Pink Floyd, Present, Popol Vuh and Pram albums. I would go with Atom Heart Mother (the suite is magnificent), but I know it will get plenty of love, and will instead go with Pram's Museum of Imaginary Animals. I love Pram and that particular album. |

I'm going with an old favourite "Stupid Dream" with Pendragon and Present right there too.

Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree, or Pram. Hard to choose between them, and currently, surprisingly, Pink Floyd is the only one without vote out of these. I think I ignore that and vote for what I feel today, which is a Stupid Dream.

Pentangle, Popol Vuh, Floyd, Present, Perigeo and Plastic People (ofU) I'll probably vote for one of the first two cited.

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter keep our sand-castle virtues content to be a doer as well as a thinker, prefer lifting our pen rather than un-sheath our sword |

Last week Atom Heart Mother would have gotten my vote. But I've finally sat down and given The Museum of Imaginary Animals a proper listen. Not sure what took me so long, but it's the albums that excites me the most out of this selection. It's sort of miraculous. Weird that a band like this has flown under my radar for decades.

Stupid Dream although it took me a while to love that album. At first I thought it was just very ordinary psyche based rock music and I guess there are many that still hear only that and not a lot else.
