Only voted for two: Änglagård and Phideaux. I'm now pronouncing the word "warehouse" in a spicy cheese wormhole dialect.

^ While it is just two, those are a very good two imo. :)

One seemingly little known at PA album I would like highlight in this, which I think great and am the sole voter for, is Shibusashirazu's Shibuboshi (2004). It only has three ratings at PA (has almost 2500 at RYM) and no reviews at PA. Of its four studio albums, that is the only one that has any ratings at PA.

It's included in Jazz Rock/Fusion at PA, and RYM tags it as Experimental Big Band, Jazz Fusion (and as secondary genres, Free Jazz and Post-Bop)

I think I might write a review for it at some time.

^Greg. Thanks for sharing some information on the group. It sounded like something I might like and found it on my Amaxon Music Unlunitex subscription. I really liked it. I listened to the album a couple of times while working. It's definitely album that could get many listens from me and have longevity. Experimental big band is an appropriate description.

I guess you mean The Human Equation by Ayreon.

It is at number 16 on the PA chart for the years 2002-13 with 625+ ratings, and I did not even find it in the top 1000 plus at the RateYourMusic chart for those years. Because I have just 12 from the Prog Archives top chart with those settings (and the other 12 from the RateyourMusic chart) it did not make it as a selection.

Ayreon - The Human Equation (2004)
- PA Rating: 4.20 | 1236 ratings (number 16 for the chart settings I used)
- RYM rating: 3.57, 3,425 ratings, 99 reviews. (it's ranked at #131 for 2004 at RYM, but for the years 2002 to 13, the charts only go up to 1,040 albums and the one ranked at 1,040 has a 3.66 there.)

So it it's not many positions down from the 12 entry for PA (still a significant difference in ranking), but it is way off qualifying for RYM. Number 12 for PA, Grace for Drowning now has a 4.20 with 1903 ratings in the PA top chart, and Ayreon has the same average rating but going on 700 less ratings.

I was lacking the hyperlinks to the charts due to a later edit, but they are back in place if people want to look for albums that they might have expected to qualify or if they are wondering about the positions.
