BTW - Menel is a great 'pop' artist and writes superb lyrics. I enjoyed his recentish solo album and enjoy Are You Sitting Comfortably but its still near bottom of the IQ chart for me. Fantastic band that didnt put any turds out.

The Menel albums were my first so I had nothing to compare to - it took me ages to appreciate Peter Nicholls’ voice when I finally got Subterranea in 1997….

Nicholls has been described as 'whiny' which I get. I think he sounded best on that and also especially The Seventh House
