I'm with you on this one regarding Abel Ganz; a nice album (not a masterpiece, though).

Oh, and this is not "classic" neo prog anymore...

Thieving Magpie is a live album.

Also in 1988, Marillion released B-Sides Themselves, although it's a compilation, it's always functioned as an album for me because long ago I could not find these songs elsewhere, so I was happy when I bought it. Tongue

I know. I only included Thieving Magpie in the poll for your benefit as I know you usually vote for Marillion whenever they appear in a poll, just as I vote for Mostly Autumn (mostly) whenever they (infrequently) appear in a poll. Smile

I must admit, I'd completely forgotten about Marillion's B-Sides Themselves album. Embarrassed

Happy to be the first to vote for It Bites.
Once Around The World is the Dunnery era's magnus opus; the perfect balance of rock-pop and prog.

Marillion
The rest, in my opinion, did not bear the weight of the years

It Bites. Another morning of making videos about armpits and consonants.

that's a happy bag of lettuce

I'm voting for that very Abel band again - the second-best-known Neo Prog band from Scotland. Smile
