Hey, everybody, wake up and listen to the first solo album by John Arch, the first Fates Warning vocalist. It features Mike Portnoy on drums and Jim Matheos on guitars/keyboards. It is mmmmuuuuuuucccchhhhhhhh better than OSI, which features the two artists mentioned above but with boring vocals by Porcupine Tree's vocalist. For fans of Dream Theater and Fates Warning, 'A twist of fate' is a must, probably the best metal-prog album of the year 2003. Great vocals, dynamic drumming, fantastic bass work and blistering guitars/keyboards.

"Magma was the very first gothic rock band" (Didier Lockwood)

Well, it was Kevin Moore who delivered most lead vocals on the OSI album - Wilson only appeared as a guest additional vocalist for one track.

Didn't you leave, Ranger?

I picked this up some time ago, and I really dig "Relentless". "Cherokee" doesn't do it for me, unfortunately. I still maintain that Arch was FW's best vocalist.
