On its first full-length s/t album, Scottish one-man band Caverns Measureless delivers an exploratory brand of folk-rock music. The compositions are erratic and flowing, frequently veering off course. Each song on this album is sombre, imaginative, and intricate.
Mandolins and acoustic guitars strum alongside flutes and violins, and every now and then an audacious electric guitar stab sends the eerie mood hurtling to a different level.
At Glasgow's beloved alt underground cocktail bar and live-music venue, The Flying Duck, Caverns Measureless recently held a concert to promote the new album with the help of additional musicians from other local underground bands who share similar views on the experimental approach to music.
