Or Brian, he loves both games.
I've not played any of the Half-Life games (apart from Half-Life 2: Deathmatch) but I gather people complain about the endings of both 2 and 3. Are they really that bad? |

What? There isn't a 3. There is HL, HL2, HL2 Ep 1, and HL2 Ep 2. HL2 games were criticized for having particularly egregious cliffhanger endings (Especially Ep 1). //EDIT: Well, really, just Ep 1. Edited by Gamemako - April 12 2012 at 16:34 |

Heh, I love Dark Souls. I love it regardless of the difficulty. I like the pacing, the subtle, bare-bones plot, and devotion to atmosphere. I love the combat controls. I like being able to trust the game's mechanics in general. I do enjoy the game's desire to be punishing and difficult, but this is a game I'd probably play even if it wasn't as hard.
Because it was real cheap I got mahself a Wii. There may only be ten or fifteen games I buy for it, but oh well. I'm really interested in Xenoblade Chronicles. Skyward Sword is supposed to be phenomenal, even better than Twilight Princess, which I've only just begun playing (and I really like it). I've always loved the Zelda franchise. Adventurous puzzly-action RPG-element-havin' gadget games with a big wide world to explore is one of my many cups of tea.

He gave her his town house and his racing horses. Each meal she ate was a dozen courses. She had a million dollars worth of nickels and dimes. She sat around and counted them all a million times.

Well said Alitare, I whole-heartedly agree. I won't rebuy Dark Souls for PC since I already own the PS3 version, but it's still awesome and I'm looking forward to the new content.

I watch Jeopardy! and tabulate my score, but I don't like RPGs with puzzles. By the time I play RPGs, I am drinking, and want to stab things, or, failing that, set them on fire with my bare hands.

If you think about it, though, they had originally intended to release an episode every couple of months, so it sort of makes sense like that. But then again, |

Because my backlog apparently isn't already massive enough, I just got a copy of Sacrifice from a giveaway on GoG. So far it seems like a pretty cool and unique RTS. Btw, GoG's having a really big Interplay sale right now. Everyone should at least go get Fallout 1&2.

You know, I got Fallout 1 and 2 from Gog when it first launched, although I've never used it since, but I couldn't really get into them. Maybe I'm just dumb. Anyway, I spilled water on the computer they were installed on, so whatever I guess.
And yeah, sorry Marco, my sister called and I lost track of time. :/ Man, you're almost my level, you've been playing a lot. I see you have been playing a lot of games as Ryze, let me give you some advice on him. Upgrading the Tear of the Goddess to Archangel's Staff really should be the last thing you do. You're paying a lot just for some extra AP, which, unlike most mages, really does not help Ryze much at all. Your goal should (generally speaking) be getting Tear of the Goddess as fast as possible, and then working for Frozen Heart and Banshee's Veil. Ryze needs that cool down reduction and armor and magic resist, and since you're low level you can't get the cool down from masteries. You may find some insight from this guide, although I think some of his choices are poor (the masteries in particular seem to be chosen at random, and I'm not sold on buying the pendant first), it's been helpful for me. Also I see you bought Brand, did you blow all your IP on that? He's interesting but I don't want to do that. I did buy Riven with RP because she's on sale, but I can't actually play her for a while because I have sent my computer in for repair QQ

Yep, I did. I really like playing with him (his abilities can wreck some serious, serious damage) but he's not the kind of guy one should solo with; and all the tanks I've played with as him were a bunch of noobs so I got killed a few times. |

The great thing about the Fallout games is that you can complete them with minimal combat if you have the right character.

God, I know the feeling.
You can get through Planescape: Torment fighting only 3 times if you're really clever about it. |

Fallout 1 and 2 could be completed almost without combat if you were a tricky dicky.
Fallout 3, no not really. Some fighting can be avoided but there are segments that need to be played almost FPS like.

Because all RTS games are heavy on the micro and light on the macro? 'Tis the nature of the beast? |

But Starcraft is pretty obnoxious when you play against skilled players because they micro the f**k out of everything. War3... I never liked in any capacity. |
