Jay Danley has been a professional musician for over thirty years and has played a wide variety of music. His progressive rock collaboration with Derek Wylie, "Connections", was called "...a varied and mature album of thoughtful and contemplative music that connects with you on a cerebral level."(M. Hutchinson, ProgRadar).
Danley's latest release is called "Great Googly Moogly! Music Inspired By Frank Zappa". It is available on all streaming platforms.

Thank you for the suggestion! Do you think you could supply us with an artist image to use on the page, and maybe expand on the biography a bit? Thanks in advance! Thumbs Up

Have a look here Jay, and see if that helps. Otherwise just post the link to your image here, and the team that eventually adds you will grab the image from that when the time comes.

You have actually been cleared in Jazz Rock/Fusion, but the team is having difficulty completing the addition due to lack of information about who played what on most of your albums. Two of the albums are reviewed on the 'All About Jazz' website with details of the musicians involved, but apart from 'Robicheux', there is no line-up info available as far as I can tell for any of the albums that are on Bandcamp. Could you possibly provide the details of who played what on those albums, so that your page can be finished off?

Absolutely, that's easy! On "Ethiojazz Volume One" the lineup is: Jay Danley: guitar/composer; Elena Kapeleris: saxophone; Chris Gale: saxophone; Alexander Brown: trumpet; Max Senitt: drums; Adam Hay: percussion; Tyler Emond: bass; Hilario Duran: Piano; Rich Brown: bass.
On "Rotman's Hat Shop" (by The Hogtown Syncopators): Jay Danley: guitar; Drew Jurecka: violin, clarinet; Terra Hazelton: vocals; Richard Whiteman: piano; James Thomson: bass
On "Connections" by Danley/Wylie I play all the instruments (guitar, bass, drums, keys, soundscapes) and Derek Wylie plays guitar.
On all other recordings except "Robicheaux" I play all the instruments (guitars, bass, drums, percussion, horns, and orchestral instruments, done using software). On the latest recording "Great Googly Moogly! Music Inspired By Frank Zappa" I played all the instruments. This is the album I would love to have reviewed by someone from Prog Archives because i feel that the writers on this site would have the most sympathetic and open ears to this kind of music. Thank you for reading all this and your help!
