I'm sick of polls like Yes vs Genesis or Pink Floyd vs Led Zeppelin, because in most cases people tend to compare apples and oranges - and there was an apple vs oranges-poll, so don't comment on that, please. What's your opinion?

Should exist...a comparison between bands it's good...yet you DO have a point in saying that too much is too much...

There is to much of them and what is the point in comparing two bands any way if i did a iron maiden vs yes poll yes would win although iron maiden is a 1000 times better...it is always kind of obvious wich band will win...

For me they´re not primarily informative, but just for fun. Just like the Rate My Albums fashion, a few months ago.

Maybe the vs. polls should be posted in the Just for fun section. I like them, personally. They´re just chats, like people do, sitting in the cafe, drinking a beer or two. Provided that everyone should take care of his or her own beer  .

Not to be taken too seriously. PA is a broad forum. There are serious discussions and chit chats. The versus polls are in section nr. 2. If you don´t like them, just ignore them.
