Their album Beethoven's Last night is great. I don't know  a lot of detail about them. They have a dark atmosphere and they harness the use of an orchestra, hence the name, and choirs. Does anyone know of any other bands that are like Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Metal+Orchestra+Dark Atmosphere and  dark vocals?

I second the Nightwish recomendation. If I remember correctly Trans-Siberian Orchestra is the side project of some members of Stratovarius you should check them out they are very good. I havent heard to much Therion but they seem like they might be along the lines of what you are looking for.
If anyone knows where I can get a copy of some Flute and Voice (Indo-Prog/Raga Rock) albums please PM me! Many thanks!

Personally I wouldn't recommend Stratovarius, and I think that Therion really suck.

For some really dark combination of Orchestra and Metal I would recommend Green Carnation - Light of Day, Day of Darkness. Adagio are also very nice - not so dark, but still. And of course Rhapsody - they are really good - if you can stand cheesy vocals and lyrics.

Savatage, not Stratovarius

Yeah, it's got all the Savatage guys in it and some former members too. Great band though. I got all their albums and their truly huge epic pieces. "Christmas Eve And Other Stories" is an amazing album, and the whole Savatage crossover thing (Dead Winter Dead) is a pretty cool concept.
