So glad to have stumbled onto this website via Roger Dean’s!  It’s fantastic place, and so great to find about other bands I had no clue about.

I’m an ‘art rock’ aficionado from the 70’s, who grew up listening to big bro’s Brian Eno, Tangerine Dream, Weather Report, Triumvirat & ELP.  Then little by little, sis found herself Yes, Genesis, Synergy and more.

The latest bands whose CD’s I'm enjoying are Gentle Giant, Shadow Gallery, Liquid Tension Experiment, Glass Hammer, and The Tangent.  (Also expecting some Camel and PFM any day now.)

The audio streaming is wonderful.  So many thanks progarchives.com for introducing me to the Italian proggers!  I had so wanted to hear them but couldn't find names and samples.

Hello Wandering Days ...

Glad you're enjoying yourself ... ah, how I envy you that first wonderful flush of love when you discover Italian prog ...

Happened to me about a year ago on this very site

It can be a great place ... make yourself at home.

"Death to Utopia! Death to faith! Death to love! Death to hope?" thunders the 20th century. "Surrender, you pathetic dreamer.”

"No" replies the unhumbled optimist "You are only the present."

Eww yeah...I already am! It is amazing how so many people here listen to some of the same non-prog that I listen to also.  Usually, when I mention The Cocteau Twins, Dead Can Dance or Phillip Glass people have no clue what I on about.

And by the recomendations I can see quite a few folks have exceedingly good taste!
