How do you respond to a specific post in a thread so the text
that you're responding to appears in your own post and has
that line box around it?
Your hands and feet are mangos, you're gonna be a genius anyway

Or you can copy the part of the text you wish to quote (highlight the text by right-clicking and dragging the cursor along the body of text you wish to copy and then right- clicking and select "copy") than do the following (without the " " s)

type: "[ " then "quote=the name of the person you are quoting" ie quote=Green and Funky.

then type "]"  now you can paste the original piece of text you wish to quote (right-click and select "paste" or click in the text box.) Then type: "[/quote]"

All this without those " " if I left them out you would see this:

You can actually see these forum codes at work if you click "quote" in someone elses post and read the text you have selected:

I click Quote Tony R in Easy Livin's post above and I will get the following text:

["QUOTE=Easy Livin]Click the quote box in the post you want to respond to.[/QUOTE"] except without the " " s.
