Let's just say you lived in a city that was fortunate enough to have regular prog concerts and due to an scheduling snafu, both Kansas and Enchant were scheduled to play different venues on the same night.  Which would you go to?

I would go see Enchant.
For one, I've never seen them and I have been to see Kansas several times.  Secondly, while I find these two bands similar, I tend to prefer Enchant because they are newer on the scene.  If there is such a thing as Fresher Prog, then I deem Enchant Fresher than Kansas.

I'd cut myself in two, and go to see them both.
Seriously, missing Kansas would kill me, while I wouldn't realy be that sad missing Enchant.
It is said to be the first Test-pressing of the corean release??

If you have seen Kansas several times already you should go and see Enchant.

Last time I heard, neither Kerry Livergren or Steve Walsh were touring with Kansas.

Hopefully, there exists a DVD of Kansas in their prime in the Mid 70's to Mid 80's.

I would buy that and go see Enchant.

It's true Livgren has been out of the band for quite a while (although he does show up from time to time at Kansas concerts around the U.S.).

This weekend is a pretty interesting one for Kansas and Livgren fans though:  Kansas (with Walsh) is playing this weekend at the Ameristar in Kansas City.  About five miles away (also in Kansas City), Kerry's Livgren's band Proto-Kaw is playing at the Beaumont Club.  I've heard some rumors Livgren may show up at the Ameristar show, guess we'll see from the show reviews next week.
