Hey guys! well,i am new to prog music and this site. I have the following albums

1.yes-close to the edge

2.yes-fragile

3.genesis-selling england by the pound

4.jethro tull-thick as a brick

5.rush-2112

6.ELP-tarkus

7.king crimson-in the court of the crimson king(computer)

8.yes-relayer(computer)

9.yes-yes album(computer)

i like prog music,punk,classic rock,alternative,funk,metal and grunge. I need prog recomendations

As far as recommendations go...the top 100 is a great place to start.

Hi, with your collection, you're off to a good start.

I recommend you look into other classic 70s symphonic rock bands that are lesser known such as Van der Graaf Generator, Gentle Giant, Camel, and Focus to start.

And of course as TheProgtologist suggested, the top 100 on the front page helps.

I would recomend you try Kansas and Gentle Giant. Awsome bands avoid their recent work atleast for starters.
