This new compilation apparently features a number of "highly sought after, and stupendously rare, original releases.", although I've never heard of most of them.

Hurray for risking a compilation free of cliches - but many of us do this for friends anyway (probably having a better understanding of their tastes), so how do I get my choices onto commerical CD!? Egg and Embryo are available on CD, and I'm prepared to bet that  obscure record labels in mainland Europe has taken the chance of issue a 1000 pressings of several others of these bands - but the chance of seeing them in the UK or N. America: about zero.

1. Pozzo Del Pichio - Merta
2. Visitors - Visitors
3. Baris Manco - Lambaya Puf De
4. Drugi Nacin - Zuti List
5. Bran - Breuddweyd
6. Breakout - Powiedzielismy Juz Wszystko
7. San Ul Lim - Frustration
8. Egg - Fugue In D Minor
9. 3 Hurel - Omur Biter Yol Bitmez
10. Illes - Nem Erdekel Amit Mondsz
11. Jean Claude Vannier - Les Gardes Volent Au SecoursDu Roi
12. Embryo - Music Of Today
13. Jazz Q - Toledo.

Cor! A Prog compilation featuring more artists that I haven't heard of to those that I have? YES PURRRRRLEEEEASE!!!  *orders*

How on earth amazon managed to mangle Picchio dal Pozzo into "Pozzo Del Pichio" I'll never know. Fingers crossed that that's not a misprint on the case...

Andy Votel works with Badly Drawn Boy. Twisted Nerve is the record company the pair set up. Andy is a producer, dj etc. He also does a lot of the design work for BDB. Strange to see him doing prog though. Follk I would have guessed from listening to BDB's output though Damon Gough's fairly ambitious arrangements for his own stuff have a hint of the closet progster in them
