Hi, I'm a newbie too, at least in PA.As you see my fav is YES, and I'm a "trooper" more than a "generator", but I like all the discography. Having completed the collection I stared to look for bands with a similar style or feeling in their music. In example, if your GENESIS collection is complete you can find fun in MARILLION, or if you love PINK FLOYD you surely will enjoy PORCUPINE TREE. But in the case of YES, what band would you consider the best disciples?
I stared this "guilty pleasure" of collecting this bands CDs and so far I've come across ENGLAND, ALASKA, RING OF MYTH, STARCASTLE, MULTISTORY, AD INFINITUM and others that in a lower degree contain at least some bits of "Yesism" in their sound. Does any other come to mind?
Well, this was supposed to be my "Hello", not to start a topic, but thank you anyway if you answer.......

Hello Tormato ... you're right it's the wrong place ... but quickly you
must have tried Flash, the band with Peter Banks and Tony Kaye ... also
Yezda Urfa - Sacred Baboon (american prog, 1976) is like a remarkable
hybrid between yes and gentle giant.
Cheers!
