this is a hardcore punk band, but they have serious prog aspects, like unique time signatures, extended solos and amazing all around musicianship. i recommend them to anyone who notices talent and appreciates good music. they have two albums, the fall of troy and doppelganger.

i also suggest coheed and cambria be put on progarchives, they have some prog pieces, and every single one of their songs goes to a full story.

The Fall of Troy is boring and generic. Sure, they use odd time signatures and riffs, but the sound the retain is no different than the countless melodic hardcore/punk type bands out there. That's mostly because of their vocals. I find the screaming obnoxious and irritating, like most of those bands. The music itself is decent, though nothing original.

I agree with that, but there's already been discussions about them, so I didn't address it in your thread.

They're obviously at least "progressive" enough to be in the Archives, yes?
