I heard this Pat Benitar song the other day- it was on Satellitle TV/Music stations- It was 1982, 83-

anyways, the song sounded very prog- any idea what album that may have been?

Thanks.

not enough info. Maybe try benatarfanclub.com and look at the discography?

She did a cover of "Wuthering Heights" around that time. That's the only prog I can think of.

First 3 or 4 albums by that lady were v.good - great version of L&M's Helter Skelter too. The Cars early albums also had some class.

Not sure which album its from, but I'd put her in the top 3 female vocalists of all time.

She's got Pipes from Hell!

It could be from 'Wide Awake In Dreamland', which as far as I can remember had a slightly less commercial feel about it.... alternatively, yes...'Love Is A Battlefield'

as you say, she's only 4' 11", but a great front woman...

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

Possibly "Hell Is For Children" from "Crimes Of Passion" (1980)? That has a
few tempo changes and shifts of mood.
