Can one of our distinguished Italian members or anyone fluent in the language please tell me what is the meaning of this song title - La Mente Vola? And if you know the song, do you know what does it talk about and what the chorus says? I suspect Andrea Cortese could answer this one. your replies are much appreciated. BTW, it is a great song and a wonderful album as is their second - Dietro L'uragano http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_BAN D.asp?band_id=469 |

I'm keeping this thread alive in case someone does know the answer to this and just did not see it initially. Anyone? |

I have no idea, but the two sample tracks are exactly what I like, I
guess I beter investigate Museo Rosenbach and other similar stuff
then. Are these albums easy to find?

You can find the Museo cd's online (I wouldn't count on stores unless it specifies in the genre). Alphataurus is a bit harder to come by but still can be found on ebay and amazon. I had the luck to find it in a small prog music store.

Thanks for that, I shall try and get some Museo Rosenbach and
Alphataurus, I was lucky enough to find some MP3s for them, but I'd
like the original albums.
Do you perchance have the original Italian lyrics as well? |

Sadly no, but I'll see what I can do. here is the link to this site where there are more translations: http://www.arlequins.it/translations/translations.asp Here is the translation of: MUSEO ROSENBACH - Zarathustra L’ultimo uomo / The last man Face of light, the told me about you, your story is in the echo of the mountains, too high to descend in us. Il re di ieri / Yesterday king No, don't continue the walk in neverending roads; you already see in me what my father, God, learnt to you. Al di là del bene e del male / Beyond the good and the evil Ancient boards, divine wills already divided in time the good and the evil. Superuomo / Super-man But too many answers confuse an ancient life. Thousand traditions built a wall around me. Il tempo delle clessidre / The time of the hourglasses Degli uomini / About men Blood, commands, flags, cities, screams of joy, pain... Why? Della natura / About nature Quietness falls over the night, virgin in its mantle. Dell'eterno ritorno / About the eternal return Strange omens light my never placed doubts. Do I tie my name to life, to death, to glory? |

It's only so I can attempt to sing along to them! I'm sad.
I shall find some Museo Rosenbach somewhere, I think I know where I can
find some...

I know what you mean, I also want to find the lyrics in Italian, because for example La Mente Vola has a very catchy chorus that just makes you want to sing. And such lovely music. My lasr resort would be that I approach my mother in law who speaks Italian. I think I'll make her listen to it and have her teach me the lyrics. Edited by avestin |

Probably not your thing, but do you know where I can get lyrics for
After Crying - De Profundis (this has a catchy chorus too) as well as
Alamaailman Vasarat lyrics? I can't speak Hungarian or Finnish.

I love them both. Never tried to find their lyrics though. Maybe in their official websites.
