Especially their first album is really good. impressive singer and pretty original style though they had influences from punk bands. it sounds art rock to my ears. have you ever heard this band ?

Between punk, new wave but some of the longer tracks can appeal to progheads in the first two or three albums.

But not progressive IMHO

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword

Influenced mainly by David Bowie, Brian Eno and Iggy Pop really weren't they?
Don't get me wrong I like(d) them and have all there albums on vinyl and used to enjoy watching them but certainly NOT prog in any shape or form.

BTW, I believe they are giging again sometime this year so I may go and see them.
May see some goth chicks with zimmer frames there

Yes, I like them a lot, one of my favorite non-prog bands.
