which album shuold I buy I allready have discovery from my mother...

IMHO, these - in the order listed:

1974 - El Dorado: A Symphony (the closest Jeff Lynne ever came to a masterpiece)
1973 - On the Third Day (cello, violin, piano - just some great sounds here)
1977 - Out of the Blue (double album, very good production and engineering)
1975 - Face the Music (not really proggy, but there really aren't any bad songs on this one)
1981 - Time (not at all prog, but by the time you get to this one you should like it anyway)

And while I'm not generally a big fan of compilations, Afterglow (3-disk set) is a very nice retrospective of the band's body of work, and also includes nearly a full CD of previously unreleased works.

If you like Discovery thenmy personal tip would be to go for A New World Record. It's my own favourite album by the band and close enough in vibe to Discovery (though the latter is heavily disco influenced). ANWR is slightly more 'classic' ELO (heavily Beatles-influenced but with a decided 70s glam and art rock twist). Great tracks in Mission, Telephone Line, So Fine, Livin' Thing etc.
You could also check out the follow-up to Discovery 'Time', which starts out very art-rocky before becoming very poppy but it does have great tunes like Prologue, Twilight and the lovely Ticket to the Moon.
Great band - pure pop but great pop!

 while not their 'proggiest' I would strongly recommend A New World Record (a great album regardless of 'label') followed by On the Third Day and Eldorado (more prog than the latter stuff)

A New World Record is my favourite ...

Although I've also got a soft spot for the very first one (self-titled) in which Lynne and Roy Wood trade songs ...
